I really like getting letters. So in order to get more of them, Im now offering commissions in exchange for letters from you alls! What must a letter contain, you may ask. Well, anything! A greeting, a drawin, a chewing gum, anything, as long as it is a fun surprise. (preferably not unpleasant surprises pls) *v* comment here or send me a note if interested. The commissions will be traditionally painted fullbody portraits with up to two characters. Simple background also *o*

Edit schmedit:
It won't be like a penpal thing, because drawing and also replying to you all with a letter will be a bit too time consuming  for me. And I'd probably mix up addresses and make a mess. Sorry ;-; The finished commissioned pieces will be posted here on deviantart was my plan!

Hello.

There I said it. Then onto other, more exciting things!

I think maybe I ought to have told you b4, but this winter I actually published my first book! I made it 2gether with my kool comic bro Øystein Runde, and it's about our adventures as official guests at a comics festival in Russia in the spring of 2013. It's called Moskva (Moscow), and is eh some 80 pages long. Phew. Making the book was krazy and spontanious, and I didnt really realize that I was making a book before maybe two months before we sent it to the printingpeeps. But yup, it was an amazing experience, and I'm quite proud of it. For me it was important to make this book, because it's a memoar of my wonderful experiences in moscow, which was honestly prbly one of the best experiences of my life. Blabla. Mm, the comic is sadly only avalable in norwegian, but we're hoping to publish it in english sometime. In the meanwhile you can check out these fun articles about it (also in norwegian heuheu but with sweet and juicy pictures from the book)

Tomorrow I'll be going back to the city of Bergen to start my new life as a student bergen National Academy of the Arts *fanci*. I'm going to study visual communication. I feel really bleh about it all, but I have to get off my lazy buns and do something with my life I guess. The only things i really look forward to now... Is to buy a new bathrobe and to decorate my room with hundreds of tiny drawings. Ive always wanted a bathrobe ÷-÷ A soft one, faint yellow/beigeish, like a citrus caramel candythingie

Sooo oooo um, idk. Wish me luck? *n*'

In other news, I'm an official guest at this years Raptus Festival in Bergen. It is a neat little comic festival, you can read about it here: www.raptus.no/

Hope to see some of you there <:

Summerrr+art school+ocx!

Journal Entry: Fri May 24, 2013, 9:50 AM
:icontransparentplz:

I've had this tradition of writing a summer journal every year in the beginning of summer. I dont know if this might be a bit too early, but here in norway I think our two days of sun and true summer warmth has passed, so in some ways...it's too late ;-; Anyway, ámy summer this year will be quite eventless. I feel like I can't travel anymore for a while seeing as I've been to Thailand, France and Russia the last half year. So I'll just stay in cold bitter norway. Ach, my summer journal is so bleak and grey and no fun. Bleh.

In other more exciting news I'm currently applying for this art school, which I very much hope to get into. My interview and test will take place the 4-5.june, so cross your jelly fingers for me ;u; (For dere norgemennesker, det er kunsth°gskolen i Bergen)

Ooh and in other other news, some news that are maybe more interesting to inhabitants of norway than those who are not, is that the 6-8th of june I will be attending oslo comics expo. In oslo. Me and some friends have made a magazine, and it is...good. The stories are made by different artists, but they all center around a main character named Geir Onimo. He is a real mannebass (Norwegian for manly man-man). And that is, well, the only trait this character has. As well as facical hair. My story is called 'Geir Onimoe vs. the schoolgirls'. Idk what I can say about it x-x It's...it's uh, different from my usual stuff. I showed it to my mom, and she just went: Ida, uhm, Isn't this a bit...obscene ˇ__˛ But I think its good. So people in the area should all come and check out the magazine!

Jellyvamps on russian television!

Journal Entry: Tue May 7, 2013, 10:40 AM
:icontransparentplz:

www.youtube.com/watch?feature=…

Wihu! Last week I was in russia to speak about myself and my art at russian comic convention. There, I got interviewed by russian television. It has always been my dream in life to be dubbed into russian *-* Dubbing is a a bit risque however seeing as they can replace my statements with more fitting ones if they want to. I have no idea what they've made me say, but I hope they didn't remove the part where I talked about how I love russia so much and that their democracy is the bestest áand that Putin is so much more manly than that weakling Obama and stuff :z Oh well

Do you know a fancy language 2

Journal Entry: Tue Jan 29, 2013, 1:09 PM
:icontransparentplz:

Heihei:) I was overwhelmed by all the linguistic fanciness I received in my last journal. But it also made me sad that I could only pick one fancy language for my comic strip.

So! I've decided to make to most surreal and incomprehensible strip ever!

I've made a tiny dialogue, and if you have knowledge of a fancy language, and are willing to translate it/part of it using your fancy skills, that would be greatly appreciated. I will try to use as many different languages as possible to make it impossible to understand. As well as making the strip itself very surreal visually. And then...world domination!!! -@

thank you:

Dialogue:

-Have you seen any good movies lately?
-Not really. I watched a movie about a man and his parrot. But it wasn't very entertaining
-Not as good as that movie we saw about those conjoined twins then?
-Not by far! That one was amazing!
-Yeah it is pretty much my favourite thing in the world.
-You say that about everything
-no I dont?
-Yes you do. Yesterday you said jellyfish were your favourite thing in the world
-Ok then...But I still mean that. Jellyfish are the coolest.
-Yes they are cool
-I wish I could be a jellyfish

Do you speak a fancy language?

Journal Entry: Tue Jan 29, 2013, 8:46 AM
:icontransparentplz:

I need help with a comic strip. What I need is a translation of the following text:

''I learned how to speak <nameofthelanguageinquestionhearh> fluently yesterday, pretty cool or what?''

''Yeah nice''

I will pick one and use in one of my stripz. Which will be published in this monthly comics magazine. This means that it's importante that your grammar is correct...Or else it will be embarassing ._.

Thank you! <:

I'm currently searching for art schools in france. But the problem is that many of the schools have little information, or almost none at all en anglais, so there are many things I have difficulties understanding with my oh so limited knowledge of the french language -__- So I'm wonderin' if any of my jelly vampires who are better at french than me, would be willing to help translating some information for me? If so I would love you forever and also offer you a piece of art drawn by moi!

Also, I'm looking for schools that offer courses in animation/bande dessinÚe and such, so if you know of any schools like this in france, please tell me ^-^

Ideas for halloween=

Journal Entry: Sun Oct 21, 2012, 3:41 PM
:icontransparentplz:

Yo! I'm having a halloween party next week. And I have a whole house to decorate. Therefore I'm maybe thinking of filling the house with random scenes associated with horror movies (for example). Maybe some clever references to said movies as well...
But sadly, I don't have many ideas at the moment. So I'm asking you, creative people of the webz, to help me. Can you help me? Any idea is appreciated!

btw, I'm looking for not movie-related ideas as well. Suggestion on how to make fancy halloweenish snacks and other dishes par example ^_^

My first hater?

Journal Entry: Thu Sep 13, 2012, 3:42 AM
:icontransparentplz:

My comic is being published on this website. And today some guy wrote:

''fullstendig talentløs og 100% uten humor. kan med fordel fjernes.''

which means something like this:

''completely devoid of talent and 100 % without humor. This could very well be removed from the site''

He's such a cutie-pie xD It is also strange that he would write that on today's strip. Which is by far my most popular one.

But yeah, there's this 'like' button under the strip. wouldn't it be cool if I got a ton of likes on it today?

www.dagbladet.no/tegneserie/gj…

Help me out if you want to ^_^

Halloween is coming up soon...ish. But I have no idea what to dress up as x-x
So I'm writing this journal to ask you, my beans, for ideas. It can be anythin'. A made up monster, a kool movie/comic/TV-series character. Anythang. If one of them ideas is good, and I end up making that costume for halloween, I will reward the person behind the idea with some very sweet gift art! ^__^

So do you have ideas for me?

Devious Journal Entry

Hello Jellybelliez

Sorry for seeming dead. I aint. I've just been moving to a new city. I'm finally an adult it seems! Havin' my own place and everything. My place is great. It's officially the smallest place in town but that's ok. What sucks is that I have to pay about 900 $ a month to live there. For a room that is 5 square meters. I also have  a tiny kitchen and a tiny bathroom that I share with two others...Welcome to norway mutha uckas!

In other news...My comic 'gelé', norwegian for 'jelly', is doing good. Atm it is being printed in norway's second largest tabloid newspaper, as well as a monthly comic magazine called nemi. You can actually read it online here: www.dagbladet.no/tegneserie/

Just scroll down and you'll see it! c:

Also my second childrens book is bein' published this autumn! (Have I written about this before I wonder? o-o) Anywayz, I'm not the author, just the illustrator.

Hopefully I'll get more active on here soon.

Oh and, I forgot to say why I've moved. It's because I'm now a student! At the university of Bergen! computer sciences! Don't ask me why

i'm a celebritah! Also: livestream?

Journal Entry: Mon Jun 11, 2012, 10:19 AM

It's strange to buy a magazine just randomly because there's an article about a TV-series in it... And end up reading about yourself. I was mentioned in this article about swedish comic creatin' ladies. In the article they interviewed a norwegian journalist. At one point she started talking about norwegian comic creatin' ladies, and suddenly she went all: blabla bla well I and many others have great expectations for Ida Eva Neverdahl, who became world famous with her comic-short story 'like an artist', which has been printed in the Nemi magazine, and is nominated for the sproing award this year blbblabla
'tis cool and flattering. Especially because she makes me sound much more awesome than I am xD  World famous? pff.
But it makes me wonder if people have written about me elsewhere without me knowing o-o

In other news, I was thinking about trying this livestreamin-business. Would you be interested in that? Because I don't want to sit there forever alone drawing and talkin' to myself on the livestream. I do that enough already. I need audience! Will you be my audience jellybeans? Will you? ó__ò

Ask me questions!

Journal Entry: Wed May 30, 2012, 5:43 AM

So I was thinking. What if I make a FAQ? (or...something FAQ-ish)
comic style?
Which means that I'll let you ask me questions in dis journal.
And then I'll make a hooge comic later answering them all. What do you think about that?

Ask me anything. This is your chance to explore the mystery that is jellyvampire. Like: How do you like your eggs? is your cat real or fake? Are you a cyborg? Have you ever been to france? What is the meaning of life? this is your chance to get all them answers!
