JellyVampire is amazing. Beautiful, creative and well told, with excellent use of layout. The ending is just wonderful.

You showed the mind of an artist in a nice simplistic approach that is not only easy to understand, but also very relatable. I think that all artist feel these kinds of emotions in sometime - the strive, the fun, the excitement; but also the doubt, feeling just average, and sometime a sense of meaninglessness. I think that the latter feelings come from growing up and one's real-world obligations. Even the character replying "I don't know. Maybe." when asked if she wants to be an artist is generally accurate - it somewhat gives the notion that the character is second guessing herself.
Use of the cute little soul creature is creative, and acts as a guide to the character. It's almost like an inner-consciousness or inner-child that never leaves, and believes in the artist. The soul creature says "draw here", and shows the artist what she can do. But even if the work is astounding, there can still be doubt.
I very much appreciate how the character does, as you stated, become more complex - regarding visual style - as she grows older.
This little comic strip is a nice visual way of portraying what many artists struggle with and go through. It is a simple way of telling, but the underlay can be complex.
